However, when you look at various peoples blogs and information online, your are led to believe that Internet marketing is really in fact easy. So what is the truth?
Well, the process or the things you need to do in order to get started in Internet marketing - those things are in fact simple and easy!
You need to choose a niche
You need to create products
You need to generate traffic
You need to communicate with your list
The difficulty comes in actually implementing those simple steps. You might know what to do and how to do it but actually getting down to taking that action and day by day doing the work is difficult.
For a start there are so many distractions online that it can be difficult to stay focused on the tasks you need to do. Also because seeing results is not very often instant it is easy to become disillusioned and believe that there must be a quick way to doing Internet marketing.
So you go back to the question and ask yourself what is the simplest and easiest way to get started - but behind that question is another assumption and that is that you will be able to see results quickly. That there is a quick way to making money online - and that is where the danger comes in.
If you believe there is a quick way to being successful in Internet marketing then you may find yourself after a few weeks of trying something new going back and looking to the next new promise of quick riches.
You really need to focus for at least 3 to 6 months on one method or system before you will really begin to see real results.
