What Is A Reasonable Time Scale For Monetization Via The Internet For A Newbie?

If you are starting out online as a newbie and you want to have an idea of how long it will be before you start making money then you will probably be told that you can start making money instantly. You see there are ways to making money straight away online but if you are looking to build a sustainable business that will provide you with income in the long term then you really need to understand that this is unlikely to happen instantly. If you want to make money straight away online and you have some kind of service that you can offer then you might be able to make some cash fairly quickly. For example if you offer a writing service, or a website design service then you can offer those services online and people needing this help will pay you for providing that service. However, in order to build a real online business you need a few things in place before you can start to generate income. You need products to sell and you need customers to sell those products to and of course that takes time.
If you have a budget available to you and you are able to hire other people to do a lot of the ground work in setting up your business then you might be able to set things up a lot quicker and therefore begin to see a revenue coming in quicker. However, in my experience people begin Internet marketing or people begin to look at building their own online business from a situation whereby they don't have any money available to invest in their business. Therefore most if not all of the initial steps they have to do themselves and of course this takes time especially if you already have a full time job. One of the most important things to take on board is that you need to have a method or system to follow that you know will work. Once you have that system and that plan in front of you then you need to commit to sticking with it. If you only give yourself a few weeks before you want to start seeing results you will be tempted to give up and try something else. Often what happens is people get distracted and six months later they still have no results but the truth is that if they had spent those six months being consistent and working on one method they would very likely have started making money and seeing results from their efforts.
